TEA CONSENT VIDEO

If you're still struggling with consent, just imagine instead of initiating sex, you're making them a cup of tea. You say, "Hey, would you like a cup of tea?" And they go, "Oh, my God, I would love a cup of tea. Thank you." Then you know they want a cup of tea. If you say, "Hey, would you like a cup of tea?" And they're like, "No, um, you know, I'm not really sure." Then you could make the a cup of tea or not, but, be aware, they might not drink it. And if they don't drink it, then, and this is the important part, don't make them drink it. Just because you made it doesn't mean you are entitled to watch them drink it. And if they say, "No, thank you," then don't make them tea at all. Just don't make them tea. Don't make them drink tea. Don't get annoyed at them for not wanting tea. They just don't want tea, OK?

LUKAS GRAHAM - 7 YEARS VIDEO (AND ACTIVITY)

Nice song to go through with your students. Have a glance at the lirycs and work out this song all together. In this song Lukas summarises his life so far and what he hopes to achieve in the future. CORONAVIRUS AND MODAL VERBS

The coronavirus is a kind of virus that mutates (changes) very fast. It’s said it comes from wild animals and its origin is China because they’re used to eating wild animals (like bats, pangolins…). Actually people think the animal which transmitted first the virus to a human was a pangolin (an ant-eater family species). The coronavirus has existed for more than 30 years but it stayed confined in China. The reason of the spreading of it is because the more often commercial transactions and, therefore, business travelling to China in this last decade and also the more habitual habits from Chinese to go on holiday to other countries.

This is a common tool to optimise learning opportunities from mistakes students make in written homework and to encourage the self-correction to get to know the mistakes and do not repeat them any longer. I'll show you where the mistakes are and what kind they are, and then you must try to correct them as a second stage to the initial writing task. SUBJECT & OBJECT QUESTIONS: GRAMMAR AND EXERCISES

When we usually learn about how to make a question, we learn about object questions, because they are the most common type of question. The normal rules that you learn about making questions, such as inverting the question word and the auxiliary verb, or adding 'do', 'does' or 'did', are all used in object questions. 'Who kissed John?' is a subject question. We don't need to use inversion, or add 'did'. Instead, we just take out 'Lucy' from the answer (which is a normal sentence) and add 'who'. We generally make subject questions using 'who' or 'what'.

GAMES TO LEARN ENGLISH

This is a free site for students to learn English online. There is a selection of games that students can use to practice learning English in a fun way. It is primarily aimed at ESL students, but young children may also benefit from them. Some popular games include Hangman, Two Truths And A Lie, Simon Says, Hot Seat, and Board Race. These games can help you practice your vocabulary and grammar skills. Eventually, it is also a great way to learn english.

THIRD CONDITIONAL FORMS

We can use the Third Conditional to talk about 'impossible' conditions, impossible because they are in the past and we cannot change what has happened: If I had worked harder at school, I would have got better grades.

Notice that the main clause can contain 'would', 'could' or 'might: If I had seen him at the meeting, I would have asked him. (But he wasn't there so I didn't.)

Also notice that sometimes the 'if clause' is implied rather than spoken:
I'd have done it. ("if you had asked me but you didn't.")
I wouldn't have said that. ("if I'd been there.")
